Configo Software is a recent startup business with an extraordinarily ambitious vision and incredible growth potential. We aim to revolutionise the way in which complex information systems’ configuration is managed, how changes are developed and operationalised with maximum confidence and minimum risk, and, through automated software migration, transform how the software market itself operates. While the business software market will be our starting point, the vision and potential extend far beyond that to any type of software and software-configured hardware, including medical testing devices, cloud infrastructure, operating systems, and consumer mobile devices and applications.
Configo is also a great place to work. We foster a collaborative work environment with encouragement of creativity, free exchange of ideas, and serious considerations of contributions from every team member. We will always strive to encourage respect for everyone’s individuality, professional and personal development, and work-life balance.
We are looking for an outstanding candidate who will kick-start the sales of our upcoming products, build durable partnerships with systems integrators and software vendors, and develop our sales operations.
While the product line is well defined, our sales operations have yet to be established. As you will essentially be starting from scratch, you will need to be self-motivating, and have the ability to strategise, find ways to approach and communicate with prospective clients, and build strong long-term business relationships. On the other hand, you will have a lot of autonomy and will be able to have a direct influence on the emerging operations of the business and a strong personal impact on the development of the company.
As the company grows, you will also be able to build a strong sales team around you. This is an amazing opportunity if you are ambitious, focused and capable.
We are looking for an outstanding front end developer to join our growing team.
To be successful in this position, you will need a keen eye for the design and usability of the web applications you will be developing.
You will lead the development of the web front end (in .NET/Blazor) for our suite of products, initially mostly on your own in close collaboration with the back-end team, and soon with an expanding team. As most of the capabilities that our software is offering are new, you will need to lead the R&D on developing the kinds of UI that will best serve our customers and their needs.
You will need to be creative, open-minded, nimble, experimental, and willing to learn from experience and constructive feedback from several different sources. You will need to think about the users’ workflows, what information should be prominent at each point it time and what form should it take, how to present complex information in a way that people can understand and use it to their benefit etc.
In addition to great technical proficiency, you will also need to lead by example when it comes to software engineering best practice.
We are currently exploring a range of other benefits, including profit sharing, share options and long-term sick pay, although the details are not yet available.
